The Be28 is 3-phase  Automatic Transfer Switch Controller. All parameters, alarms and operating functions are indicated by means of a high-luminosity display capable of operating in a temperature range between -30°C and +70°C. The measurements including Vac, Aac, Vdc, Hz, Battery Vdc (Engine). Software for remote control & monitoring is also provided via RS485 (MODBUS-RTU protocol). The Be28 complies with NFPA-110 / NFPA-99 specifications and features 7 modes of operation. By using our TCP-IP/RS485 converter you can monitor and control the Be28 via INTERNET. Software is provided free of charge. Option for remote control by Mobile Phone is also provided by using the optional module  Be16

The front panel features high-brightness indicators in a way that you understand immediately the status of the transfer switch control panel.

 Use [←F8] and [F9→] to select a menu. Use [ACK-F10] to display the name of the function present on the display. The OFF mode shuts down the display and turns on the dot on the right side of it. Push a button to turn on the panel

AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCH CONTROLLER OFF MODE OF OPERATION

Push the [OFF] push button to enter the OFF mode. OFF mode clears the fault alarms. The Display and LEDs are turned off and a dot on the display will blink slowly. Push one of the push buttons on the front panel to energize the display. The display will turn off automatically after a few minutes

AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCH CONTROLLER MANUAL MODE OF OPERATION

Push the [MAN] push button to select the MANUAL mode. Push the [START] push button until engine starts; the display indicates the message [. . . .] during the starting attempts made bt the AUTO START module. Push the [ I ] (KG) push button to close the circuit breaker of the Generator. To transfer the Load to Mains, push the [I] (KM) push button (the [KG] will open). To open a circuit breaker, push the [O] push button.

AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCH CONTROLLER AUTO MODE OF OPERATION

   Push the [AUTO] push button until the green LED ‘AUTO’ illuminates. The engine starts when the Be28 detects a Mains failure. The contactor of the MAINS (KM) opens after a delay. After the warm-up time, if the Voltage and Frequency are within the settings, the circuit breaker of the Generator (KG) will close. If the Mains restores, the KG will open. The KM will close following a programmable changeover timing. The engine will stop after a cooling down time. If the engine shuts down, the KM closes only if the Mains is within the programmed settings. In AUTO mode, the Be28 can start and stop the engine according to programmable inputs also.


AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCH TEST MODE OF OPERATION

  Push the [TEST] push button until the green LED illuminates.The Be28 starts the engine and could transfer the load to the Generator according to the settings of the panel manufacturer. To stop the engine, select the AUTO mode (if the Mains is present) or stop the engine in MANUAL mode. If you push the [STOP] push button when the Be28  automatic transfer switch controller is in AUTO or TEST, the [Er.09] will energize. To clear the alarm, select the OFF mode.
