BE124 CENTURION
The BE124 CENTURION is able to monitor a generator with the following characteristics:
- VOLTAGE 60Vac up to 600Vac - FREQUENCY 25 up to 600HZ
- CURRENT 0 up to 2000Aac - SINGLE PH / 2-PH / 3-PH
You can set up protective functions about Over/Under Voltage, Over/Under Frequency, Over KVA, Reverse Power, Phase Unbalance, Phase Sequence, Alternator Failure, Earth Fault & Short Circuit. You can connect any type of engine.
BE124 CENTURION STARTER CONNECTION
This is the basic arrangement for a simple AUTO START. You are required to use a relay [2] to drive an 'energized to run' FUEL SOLENOID and a pilot relay [3] for the starter motor [5]. You are required to use cable of proper size [4]. The Be124 continuously monitors the W.L. terminal of the belt alternator [1] to terminate the crank at the proper moment. If necessary, you can set up programmable outputs for PRE-GLOW, CHOKE or GAS SOLENOID.
BE124 CENTURION CONFIGURABLE OUTPUTS
This is the typical connection for output relays. The BE124 outputs are short circuit proof. The logic is positive. You are required to use automotive relays in accordance to the battery voltage (e.g. 12V relays for a 12V battery, 24V relays for a 24V battery). It is mandatory to use diodes in parallel with the relay coils ([2]). You are required to connect the other side of the coil to a solid battery minus (normally grounded). We recommend that you protect with fuses the contacts of the relays ([3] / [4]).

BE124 CENTURION CONFIGURABLE INPUT
The BE124 Centurion is extremely flexible, especially on adjustable input point of view. You can use 3 inputs in analog/digital mode and 3 inputs in digital mode only. For each input you can configure up to 15 different options that include warning functions or shutdowns. You can choose also the option N.O. or N.C.. For the analog inputs you can configure any kind of response curves. An embedded troubleshooting will allow you to monitor on-site the status of each input.
BE124 CENTURION POWER SUPPLY
A good battery connection is the secret of a long term reliability of a generator AUTO START. A powerful battery will be useless without good wiring.
The basic rules are simple: -Proper size for each cable -A solid connection -Only one common ground point -Always use diodes in parallel to coils

BE124 CENTURION CANBUS & MODBUS
BE124 features an RS485 serial interface that supports the MODBUS-RTU protocol. You can download our free of charge software for control and monitoring.The embedded serial interface is able to drive a twisted cable of about 1000 m.
BE124 features an CANBUS serial interface in a way that you can connect engines with a SAEJ1939 compatible ECU. The CANBUS port is fully isolated and protected by reverse voltage.
