It is the ideal choice for standard diesel engines and SAE J1939-compliant engines equipped with CANbus (Perkins - Deere - Volvo - Scania - Iveco - etc .) working in harsh environments. Despite the fact that the box is rated IP65, all internal components are fully coated. This protects the modules against the elements and guarantee long-term operation. In these examples you can understand how the system works. After sending the 'BE124 ENGINE' command, the Be124 controller sends back the basic engine instruments & information.After sending the BE124 STATUS' command, the Be124 sends back an SMS that allows you understanding the general status of your machinery.

You are required to connect terminals [1] and [2] to a magnetic pickup. If the pickup is not available, you can connect the 'W' of the belt alternator. To get the correct rotational speed measurement you are required to program the number of teeth of the gear shaft. Terminals [2] and [3] are connected to a 4-20mA hydraulic pressure transmitter. The controller accepts any full-scale up to 50 Bar.As option, you can connect a safety pressure switch to terminal [5]. To the terminals [6] [7] and [8] you are required to connect analog sensors for measuring the oil pressure, engine temperature and fuel level. If analog sensors are not available, you can be configure the inputs for digital devices.

 Terminals [9] and [10] accepts generic digital inputs. These inputs are fully configurable via software. You can connect additional alarms or commands that will automatically start or stop the engine. The terminals [11] ... [17] have to be used to control of the diesel engine. You can set various functions such as stopping time via a solenoid or energized to run solenoid.  Many parameters are available for configuration of the automatic start and miscellaneous settings are available as well.

 To the terminal [17] you can connect an output relay with a programmable function. The terminal 15/54 is connected to the ignition key and it is protected by a 5 amp fuse. You can use it to optionally illuminate your dashboard. The terminals [19] and [20] are available for the ECU connection in case you wire an engine with CANbus(must be compatible with the SAE J1939 standard). The CANbus connection is fully isolated from the controller. This will add extra safety to your system.
