What is the cost of a Remote Genset Monitoring solution?
Bernini Design does not charge you for the use of a Remote Genset Monitoring System.
All features are included in the controllers. Once you purchased the hardware, you have nothing to pay to Bernini Design. You have to pay only your Internet service provider or Telephone service provider. In case you need accessories, like additional converters of protocol or hardware interface, Bernini Design is able to provide cost effective products. A typical Remote Genset Monitoring Solution Kit includes a genset controller, a TCP-IP server, an RS485 to USB converter, a set of cables and connnectors according to your needs.
What is A Remote Genset Monitoring solution?
A Remote Genset Monitoring solution is a set of hardware & software equipment that allows you to Monitor an Electric Generator (Diesel, gas or other).
With a Bernini Design Remote Genset Monitoring solution you will be able to start and stop the engine from a remote location. In addition you can:

What does ‘remote location’ exactly mean?
Any location not necessary limited by distance:
Connect the Be124 Genset Controller  to a BE16 Module  by using an RS485 twisted pair  (max. 1000m). Connect the Be16  to a MODEM  by using an RS232 cable  (max 100m). Run the Bernini Design application on any GSM compatible device  to get connected to your generator in real time. In this example, you can monitor your standby generator by using a mobile phone. The Be16 is a communication gateway. It is includes a powerful SMS decoder-encoder. It translates the messages into command for the generating set controller. The system allows double password protection to limit the access to the generator. In case you loose the password you can retrieve your data by providing credentials to the system. GSM MONITORING
Connect the BeK3 AMF ATS Controller  to a BE16 gateway module  by using a RS485 twisted pair cable  (max. 1000m). Connect the Be16  to a MODEM  by using an RS232 cable  (max 10m). Run the Bernini Design application on a GSM compatible device (mobile phone or other)  to get connected to your generator in real time. The Be16 is a communication gateway. It includes a powerful SMS decoder-encoder. It translates the messages into commands for the AMF ATS control panel. You can transfer the load to generator or to mains only if the controller is locally in AUTO mode of operation. Otherwise, you will be only able to monitor the system. MODBUS MONITORING
In this example, you can monitor your standby generator by using INTERNET. You can control the status of the AMF control panel and you can transfer the load to Mains or Generator and vice versa. Connect the BeK3 AMF ATS Controller  to a TCP-IP SERVER by using an RS485 twisted pair (max. 1000m). Connect the SERVER  to a ROUTER  by using an ETHERNET cable (max 100m). Run the Bernini Design application on any device connected to INTERNET; a computer, for example () to get connected to your control panel in real time. By launching 'password protected' commands you will be able to transfer the load by remote, start and stop the power generator. TCP-IP MONITORING
