Remote Generator Start Switch
Text messaging is a common method of sending short messages between cell phones. You can use short messages to communicate with your power generator by connecting the Be16 module to a modem and to a generator controller. This wireless remote start kit is able to decode keywords and extract from the SMS the command to start and stop the power generator. You can get back information about engine and generator instruments. If you properly configure the system you can get notifications about fuel change as well. The Be16 is able to manage passwords in a way to limit the access to the system or to ignore SMS coming from other users. The wireless remote start kit can be connected to a Be142 AMF controller or BeK3 AMF & ATS controller. In this way you can control the changeover switch from a remote location. You can purchase the parts of the kit separately or you can purchase the wireless remote start generator kit ready for use. You can build a cost effective remote generator start switch activated by SMS commands. To start the generator simply type the message [NAME][START]. To stop the generator simply type the message [NAME][STOP]. The word [NAME] is the name associated with your power generator. You can use simply a 'letter' or a simple word like 'GEN'. The Be16 will launch the command when the SMS includes the correct 'NAME'. Otherwise, it will ignore the message. The [NAME] is configurable on your mobile phone only.

When you connect the Be16 to a Be142 or Bek3 AMF & ATS controller, you expands enormously the remote commands possibilities. As a matter of fact, you can control the connection of the load using your mobile phone. In addition to the auto mode of operation provided by the AMF ATS controller you can override some controls using your mobile phone. For example, in case of power outage you can decide to maintain the load connect to your power generator. Or, vice versa, when the power utility is perfectly stable you can choose to connect the load to your power generator. In any case, you will get notified in real-time about all operations. In case you forget to send some critical commands, you can configure the controller to activate particular functions after an adjustable time-out. You can get on your mobile phone the electrical parameters on your load when connected to power utility or generator. By simply typing the message [NAME] [GENP], for example, you can read all power measurements like kVA, KW, KVAR and PF.

Intelligence For You Generator Using Multiprocessor Architecture
By installing a traditional genset controller on the door front you are required to cut out an area of the panel to insert the controller. The controller needs all connections to run the entire system. As much as 50 meters of cables and as many as 100 connections may be required by a 3-phase genset controller. With multiprocessor architecture, a separated micro controller is used for inputs, measurements, outputs, etc. The wireless genset controller is made of intelligent boards that shares a common software. Each point of connection, indipendent of the function, is an 'intelligent node' and directly communicates wireless with the Be242 genset controller.
