The Be42 is 3-phase AMF controller. It features an high-luminosity display. The AMF controller Be42 interfaces with analogue or digital sensors. It measures Vac, Aac, Vdc, Hz, hour count, R.p.m., Oil Pressure, Engine Temperature, Battery Vdc and Fuel Level. Software for remote monitoring is also provided free of charge. The Be42 provides MODBUS via RS485. The AMF controller Be42 complies with NFPA-110 / NFPA-99. By using our TCP-IP server, you can monitor and control the Be142 via INTERNET. Option for remote control by GSM is also provided. We provide support to make your own AMF Control Panels. Be42 features 3-Phase monitoring for MAINS and 2-Phase monitoring for generator. For a full 3-phase monitoring you can use Be142.

[ALARM ER10] MAINTENANCE REQUEST WARNING You are required to carry out the maintenance of the engine.
[ALARM ER11] FAIL TO START SHUTDOWN The engine failed to start after an automatic start cycle. You are required to check the engine before clearing this alarm.
[ALARM ER12] LOW FUEL ALARM This could be a warning or a shutdown. The display will provide additional information about it.
[ALARM ER13] BATTERY VOLTAGE ALARM. You are required to check the status of the battery before clearing this alarm.
[ALARM ER14] LOW OIL PRESSURE ALARM. This is a critical warning or shut down alarm. Immediate action is required before restarting the engine.
[ALARM ER15] HIGH TEMPERATURE ALARM. This is a critical warning or shut down alarm. Immediate action is required before restarting the engine.
AMF CONTROLLER BE42 BASIC OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
AMF Controller Be42 OFF mode of operation
Push the button [OFF] to enter the OFF mode. The OFF mode is a low power consumption mode. The micro controller is working in a low power mode. Despite the fact that the current is reduced to a few milli amps, we recommend that you disconnect the battery if you will not use the generator for a long period of time. Thus, in case that the panel is not able to provide a charging current for the battery. The OFF mode of operation clears the fault alarms and allows you to read or program parameters. The Display and LEDs are turned off and a dot on the display will blink slowly. Push one of the push buttons on the front panel to turn on the display.
AMF Controller Be42 MANUAL mode of operation
The MANUAL mode allows manual control of the Engine and Contactors. Push the [MAN] button to select the MANUAL mode (if in AUTO mode, push the OFF button first). Push the [START] button until engine starts; the display indicates the message [. . . .] during the starting attempts (and [! ! ! !] during the preheat). When the engine is running, the GREEN ENGINE RUNNING LED INDICATOR turns on. To stop the engine, push the [STOP] button until the [StOP] message appears on the display. If the engine has already stopped, it is possible to reset the STOP sequence by pressing the [STOP] button.
AMF Controller Be42 AUTO mode of operation
Push the [AUTO] button until the AUTO GREEN LED illuminates. The engine starts when the Be42 detects a Mains failure. The Contactor of the MAINS (KM) opens after the BREAKER timing. After the warm-up time, if the Voltage and Frequency are within the settings, the contactor of the Generator (KG) will close. If the Mains restores, the KG will open. The KM will close following a programmed changeover timing. The Engine will stop after a cooling down time. In AUTO mode, the Be42 will periodically test the engine if the scheduler is programmed. During this test, the TEST GREEN LED mode will continue to blink. In AUTO mode, the Be42 can start and stop the engine according to programmed configurable inputs.
AMF Controller Be42 TEST mode of operation
Push the [TEST] button until the green LED illuminates. The Be42 starts the engine and transfers the load to the Generator if [P.17] is [on]. To stop the engine, select the AUTO mode (if Mains is present) or select the OFF mode. If you push the [STOP] button when the Be42 is in AUTO or TEST, the [Er.09] will energize. To clear the alarm, select the OFF mode.
